So you want to know how to do Affiliate Marketing Step by Step. Well guess what? You just found the right blog post.

First of all let me explain to you what affiliate marketing is. To make it simple, affiliate marketing is just you selling other peoples product for a commission. Thats all. It’s just that simple.

You just get a product and drive traffic to it and when people buy through your affiliate link you make money for that. Very simple.

And make no mistake about it, you can make a life changing amount of money through this type of marketing. There are people making millions a year with this type marketing. In fact it’s my favorite way to make money and I’ve done pretty good with it.

But let me say here at the outset. Affiliate marketing is not a 1 and done thing. You have to stick with it for the long haul to make any kind of life changing money with it.

So you need to have what I call “Stick-to-it-ive-ness”. In other words don’t ever give up in your marketing. Always keep moving forward. Using your creativity and imagination goes a long way.

Now, I’m going to show you a great little way you can sell affiliate products in this article telling you step by step how to do it. All you need to do is take action.

Ok, you ready to see this? Then let’s get on with it…

The Method 

There are many affiliate networks out on the internet but my favorite is Clickbank. It’s the easiest to work with. And the payouts are relatively high.

The product we’ll be using is a great product that has to do with Solar Power.

Note: Let me say here that it’s easy to create an account on Clickbank. Just go there and click on create and account. It’s free. In fact everything I’m showing you here is 100% free to do. So create your account and get logged in.

After you’re logged into your account. Click on “Marketplace” at the top. It takes you to the marketplace page. There you will scroll down the red categories on the left. Click on “Green Products”.

Then up at the top do a sort of the products using “gravity”.

Look for this product in the list – Hot New Offer: Backyard Revolution – 10%+ Conversion Rates.

It’s a product to do with solar Power. You can read about it and you’ll see its a great product. You can make right now (as of this writing) $44.00 per sale. So you can see it won’t take too many sales of this before you’re making a bunch of money.

Now, what you want to do is get your affiliate link for it. To do that click on “promote”. It opens up a window and here you want to make sure you type in your “affiliate nickname”. You can input a tracking tag if you want but its not necessary.

Then click on the “Get Hoplinks” button. That will show you your affiliate link. That’s the link you’ll use to drive traffic to to get your sales with. But it’s too long and ugly. We’re going to shorten it up and make it look better.

Click on the “copy” button over to the right. Or you can of course highlight it, right click on it and copy it that way too.

Next you’re going to take that link over to a site called “Bitly.com“. Here you can shorten that link up. Paste your link in the shortener and click on “shorten”. Now you have a much better looking link that people are more likely to click on.

Ok now it’s time to market our product.

Next, go to this site – https://www.flickr.com/. Flickr is a site where people upload photos and share them with everybody for free. There’s all kinds of categories to upload in. When people share their photos they get likes ,comments and shares on them. Basically, these photos go viral.

In fact right now, Flickr is getting about 69 million visitors per month to that site. So you can see why we’re using it. It has a ton of traffic. And that’s what you want.

At Flickr, it’s free to sign up. So get your account setup and get logged in.

Now, what you want to do is go back to the affiliate product on Clickbank. Click on this link – :http://www.backyardrevolution.org/affiliates.

Scroll down the page and you’ll see this button “Click Here to Download Ad Materials“. Click it to download the photos of the Solar Power product to your computer. Unzip it to a folder.

You’ll see many images of the product.

Now at Flickr you want top upload one of those pics of the product. After you’ve uploaded a pic, its will ask you for a description of the picture. Type something in there that tells the benefits of the product to the customer.

At the end of the description make sure to post your affiliate link from Bitly.com where you shortened it up. Then in the column on the left you’ll see where its asks for “tags”. Tags are just keywords that people will type in to the search engine on Flickr and that’s how they’ll find your photo.

So put in tags like “solar”, “power”, “alternative”, “energy”. Tags like that. Anything you can think of related to solar power will work.

Also on the left column make sure where it says “visible” is set to “everyone”. Or public.

Then on the upper right you’ll see a button labeled “Upload 1 photo”. Click on that.

And that’s it. Your affiliate product is live now.

When someone visits your photo and likes what they see they’ll click on your affiliate link. And if they buy, you make money. It’s just that simple.

Conclusion 

Now the only thing left is to rinse and repeat. You can upload up to 1000 images on Flickr for free. So the more you do the more money you can make. Just don’t quit or give up. You can use your creativity and imagination to find other ways to market this product too.
