There’s not many ways you can use Craigslist to make money with. They don’t allow affiliate links at all. But I have another way. Interested? Read on then…

Years ago Craigslist allowed affiliate links. But as time went by and probably a lot of people complaining about us money grubbing affiliate marketers enough, that Craigslist caved.

Let me say here that if you’re an affiliate marketer, we’re not money grubbing marketers at all. At least I’m not. If you’re in it just for the money then you will fail. Just the ways it is. On the other hand if you’re in it because you believe in your product with a passion and you know it will help people achieve whatever it is they’re trying to achieve. Then you will more than likely succeed.

So, you see the motivation is different for a true marketer. He really wants to help people. In my case, is the goal to help you change your life from a life held by a job (just over broke), to a life of freedom. Time freedom for you. By showing how to leverage the power of online marketing.

Ok, so if you’re ready now, then let’s get on with seeing how we can help change peoples lives by using Craigslist and Clickbank products.

The Method

First you need an account at Clickbank. We’ll assume you already know how to go to Clickbank.com and sign up for an account. If you don’t then, it’s easy. Just go to Clickbank.com and click on create an account and sign up. It’s free.

Now that you have your affiliate ID, it’s time to find a product. After you’re logged in, click on the “Marketplace” link at the top of the page. On the market place page, you can see in the column on the left the categories listed.

Here’s where you choose a product. You can use any product you choose to. In our case, we’ll be using the make money niche. So you click on the “E-Business/ E-Marketing” category.

Now you see a list of different products to do with making money online. The ones with a high gravity rating are the best ones. For example, you pick the “The 12 Minute Affiliate System” where you can make $76.20 per sale.

Then just click on the “Promote” button and the window opens up for your to get your affiliate link. Click on “Generate Hoplinks” button. Then copy your long affiliate link.

Next take that link over to Bitly.com and shorten it up into something a little more presentable. Save that link.

Now go to Craigslist.com/sites

Here you ‘ll see that Cragislist is all over the world. By the way, this method can be done over most of the world.

Bonus: If you’re in a country that Clickbank is not available, heres the way around that. Use a VPN. Connect to a server in US. Then sign up at Clickbank.com. Should work cause it looks to them that you’re actually in the US. I’m not 100% about that, but it’s worth the try.

At the Craigslist sites page, pick whatever city, town, state, country, etc. you want. This method is going to be a numbers game. Meaning you’re going to have to post to many consistently to get sales. In other words don’t give up. Keep doing it.

Once you pick a city in a country you want to work with, on that page you want to click where it says “Resumes’. If you’re in a different country it may say “CVS” to you for the resumes button. Just click on that.

In this page you’ll see where many people are posting about getting a job. Or asking for work. Or looking for work at home positions. You can also do a search at the top of the page using the keywords “work from home” and see if there’s people looking for that too. Just use your imagination for searching.

Nevertheless, just pick one and click on it. It opened up their post and you can read it and so forth. At the upper left you see a button that says “reply”. Click on that.

It drops down a menu. In that menu you see there are many ways by email to contact the person who posted. You want to copy the address under where it says “copy and paste into your email:”.

Copy that Craigslist address. It’ll look something like this: [email protected]

Now using your email. Any email address will work. You can use a gmail or yahoo mail or any mail account will work. Paste in the “to” section that email address you copied from Craigslist.

Now what are you going to send to them? In the body of the email you’ll post something that offers to them your product. This is where copywriting comes in at. Copy and paste in the wording in my script in the body of the message and use your name as well. Then after that, remember to paste in your link to your product you got from bitly.com.

Then all you have to do is click on send. And that’s it. Now it’s just a matter of rinse and repeat over and over. Find another posting of someone looking for a work from home opportunity and do the same thing.

So, as you can see its all free to do and you can help a lot of people and make a tidy sum for yourself too. Making money from home like this is a great thing. Just remember to stick with it and never give up.
