There are many types of work at home jobs you can get, but transcription jobs probably pay the most. And the nice thing about it is most are free to sign up and get started with. And can be worked from anywhere in the world.

This type of work is also the easiest to do because all you do is listen to a voice or video recording and simply just type what you hear. Doesn’t get much easier than this. And the clips are only 1 to 10 minutes long usually.

Transcription sites are sites where companies, and universities, and other industries can come and hire their voice or video recordings to be transcribed into writing quickly and easily.

Let me say here at the outset that these sites, you are working from an independent contractor stand point. There is no being an employee here. That’s why you can have the ability to make unlimited money actually. You might be able to get full time employment, but why would you? At that point you’re no better off than working at your present job, if that’s what you do.

The first site we’ll talk about is Transcribeme.com. It’s based out of Oakland Ca. US.

At this site what you want to do is click on “Join as a Transcriptionist” button at the top right. Or scroll all the way to the bottom and click the same link there. On the next page click the “Join” button there.

Fill out the application to join. It’s free. Here’s what they say on their site about the pay you get…

We have the industry’s best rates, with earnings starting at $15-$22 per audio hour and top monthly earnings at $2,200 (average monthly earnings are $250). Transcriptionists with specialized backgrounds in Medical & Legal are paid a higher rate.

So you see, you can make up to $2200 per month. Of course the better you get with this site you can reach up to that level. Break that down and that’s $550 per week.

You will have to take an entrance exam to pass. After that you’re on your way with this site. This site pays you by Paypal. You will need a free Paypal account. They pay every week. And no experience needed.

They do have ways for you to learn even more to grow even greater with them, to make more money.

Site Number #2 

The second site is 1888typeitup.com. It’s based out of New York city.

At this site scroll all the way to the bottom and click on the “Apply” link.  Fill out their application.  This site does have a non-refundable $39 fee to take the entrance exam. But that’s nothing compared to what you can make.

Here’s what they say on the site about your pay here….

Our transcriptionists make $30 to $180 per audio hour, and we strive to pay at least $1 to $2 per audio minute ($60 to $120 per audio hour) and higher when possible.

Some jobs will pay anywhere between those figures. And they have plenty of work to go around. No experience required. All they require is to pass their entrance exam.

This site only requires you to be age 14 years to work for them as a transcriptionist. And they only pay by Paypal. So make sure you have a Paypal account. They pay you twice a month on the 15th and last day of the month. If you live outside the US they will pay you by Payoneer too.

So the potential here is to make about $200 per week with this company.

Site Number #3

The 3rd site is dailytranscription.com. They have offices in both Los Angeles and New York.

At this site click on the “careers” link at the top of the site. On the next page click on the transcriptionist button and fill out their application.

This site requires you to pass a skills assessment test and a transcription test. It’s free. Heres what they say about the pay….

We don’t guarantee a specific amount of work per day/week but our top transcriptionist makes anywhere from $250- $950 per week. So you see its possible to make about $1000 per week.

As with the other the better you get the more money you can make. And they have the capability to increase your talents in this area too by learning more. Also they require no experience to get started.

If you live outside the US they will allow you to work as long as you can speak both english and your native language fluently. 2 languages and you can work here.

This site pays you by check mailed to your house. If you live outside the US they will make other arrangements to pay you. My guess, since they don’t say it on the site, is they will possibly pay by Payoneer.

Site Number #4

This 4th site is gotranscript.com. They’re based out of the United Kingdom, Edinburgh.

At this site scroll all the way to the bottom and and click the “work” link. On the next page click the “Apply” button to get started. Follow the prompts.

You can be anywhere in the world and work with this company.

At this site you’ll see you can make up $1215 per month. That’s about $400 per week. They will pay you via Paypal and Payoneer weekly.

There’s no experience required to work for this company.

You will have to pass a test exam. It’s free to do this.

Conclusion  

All of these sites require just an internet connection a computer and audio equipment such as headphones and microphone is all. If you joined all 4 of the sites you would have the ability to make well over $1000 dollars a week. I suggest you take action on these sites to work from home doing transcriptions jobs.
